Make your own wedding rings

What could be more special than hand crafting each others wedding rings.

Contact Ami to book your day in Broadstairs. The workshop is available throughout the year and you will be booking the workshop for you only. To ensure you get the date that you want, please get in touch to check availability. You are welcome to visit the studio for a free consultation before committing to a date.

Come to the studio for a short consultation (or we can do it over the phone or email if you live further away), where you can choose your ring design, sort out sizing and give you an idea of your metal costs. You can choose from a classic 'D-shape', 'Oval/Court', 'Flat', Inverted D shape or 'Round' section ring. I have lots of sample rings you can try on to help you decide on the shape, dimensions and finish.

A minimum of 4 weeks before your day I will order your raw metal. You can choose from 9ct white, yellow or rose gold or 18ct white, yellow or rose gold, but please refer to my 'white gold - what to know' before finally deciding on your materials.

On the day your raw materials and your tutor will be waiting for you. I will take you step-by-step through the making processes. She'll give you demonstrations, guidance, assistance and supervision at every stage making 2 rings that are ready to be sent to the Assay Office to be Hallmarked. I will also do a bit of additional finishing and polishing for you after your workshop to make sure your rings are ready for hallmarking which is included in the price.
When booking we will discuss what materials you would like to use so I can order them prior to your workshop. Extras can also be arranged including engraving.

 A one day workshop costs £275 plus the cost of your chosen metal for you as a couple or £150 + Metal Cost as an individual for your exclusive use of the studio for the day, including all tools and expertise of Ami.
